Lisa Murphy Receives Jim Sackett Adoption Advocate Award 2025
In recognition of her long-standing adoption advocacy and leadership, Lisa Murphy, Founder and CEO of Open Hearts for Orphans, was honored with the Jim Sackett Adoption Advocate Award. The award was presented at the National Adoption Day Ceremony at the Palm Beach County Courthouse on November 21, 2025.
The ceremony was overflowing with love and kindness as eleven families adopted 14 children at the ceremony.
Because WPTV anchor Jim Sackett is an advocate for children in the foster care system, the Jim Sackett Adoption Advocate Award recognizes advocates that support children in the foster care system and adoption efforts in their community.
