Funding Life - Medical Intervention
Through our medical intervention initiatives, we:
- Help fund heart (and other) surgeries for vulnerable children
- Provide necessary medical equipment & supplies to medical foster homes and orphanages through our "Hearts of Hope" project. To date, we have helped fund heart surgeries for over 30 vulnerable children, and we have shipped over one hundred sophisticated units to help monitor blood oxygen levels in medically-fragile orphaned and abandoned children.
- Help fund other types of surgeries for orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children, including cleft palate, orthopedic, g-tube, and intestinal. We have provided walkers, wheelchairs, and many medical supplies.
- In 2021, we provided a state-of-the-art portable ultrasound unit to an NGO in Guatemala who cares for adolescents who have been trafficked.
- In 2021, we provided a state-of-the art echocardiogram machine to the first female cardiologist in Uganda.
- In 2021, we provided three heart monitors and a central processing system to a heart hospital in Iraq serving vulnerable children.
Little Hearts Medical Missions
In 2019, we were given the honor of carrying the torch for Little Hearts Medical "LHM" by absorbing LHM as a program within our medical intervention initiatives. LHM property was absorbed as a pediatric cardiac care program focused on serving orphaned and abandoned children in the world.
